We are sorry for not having written in so long! Did we miss a month?!?
I guess you could say, "no news is good news."
We have having such a fun, busy, and exciting summer that I have not had the time to write or even post pictures. So, I figured I would mostly post pictures to catch you all up.

Joseph is just like his Daddy, Mr fix-it is helping mommy by fixing the vacuum, fixing daddy's truck, fixing tires, and fixing anything he has seen daddy touch in the past 12 hours.
This is Joseph at his first baseball game, the Sky Sox. The game started at his bedtime so he was a bit cranky, and we left before the bottom of the 1st inning. Thank goodness we tailgated for a few hours first. :)
We visited Grandma and Grandpa's house for a week while Daddy took a class for work. BIG Congrats to daddy for all the hard work and passing his CISSP (

Daddy loved the week of training and Joseph and Grandma played a lot.
While in Denver we also had a quick visit with Molly and Emily. Love the high heels Emily! And, Joseph being the only boy in the house had to make sure Aunt Dana was OK at the door. He was very concerned. Too cute!
Then, we were off to watch cousin Colton play baseball. Colton is in the catcher's uniform. GO COLTON! Joseph took the chance to get a good look at newborn cousin Abby. He's been pretty hesitant with Abby, but we are working on babies. He loves Abby, but he is just used to being 'the' baby. He's not used to seeing kids (babies) smaller than him - especially if Mommy is holding them. He has progressed; on the 4th of July he actually gave Abby a kiss!
Molly is our, "babysitter." She does a good job taking care of Joseph. Joseph loves it when she picks him up. Grandma got a picture with all of her grandkids...well most. Joseph would not sit long enough for me to get a picture. So, he is in the picture only in memory. Little stinker!
Then back to Grandma's again for a little snack and some playtime. Joseph was nice enough to share with Emily. It's odd how they almost look the same size and Emily is 3 and Joseph is 1.
Joseph has a new trick. He knows how to stick his tongue out (he had a bit of help from Daddy). It is pretty funny as it takes him a bit to think about it and then get his tongue out. All that concentration to get his tongue out made him tired. He and Daddy snuggled for a good nap. I love my boys!
We decided we wanted to go camping, but were worried about Joseph sleeping in the camper. We took a few dry runs in our back yard. He did ok, but the first run I ended up bringing him back in to sleep in his crib. Read more to see if we ever made it out to the Rockies.
This is Joseph's new favorite toy. He loves to wear an old set of headphones around his neck. I don't know why and I don't get it, but if he sees them in his toy box he will take them out and put them around his neck and walk around and play with other toys. He is SO 80's! Funny...
Oh yes, it is summer and you couldn't play in the summer heat without a little water. Joseph loves to play with water. Joseph has even started his swimming lessons!
And yes, this summer we have done a lot of hiking. At least a hike a day in the yard. There is lots to explore...trees...flowers...sticks...rocks...DIRT.

4th of July was fun. Joseph was cutting two teeth so he was a bit cranky, but we went to Uncle Peter's and Aunt Heather's for a truly GREAT family 4th and Joseph ate and ate and ate and ate. I honestly think he ate for 3 hours straight. There was lots of FOOD (for Joseph), FOLKS (it was nice to see Great-Grandma-pa Jenson), and FUN (thanks to a water balloon fight).
Mike has been playing plenty. A few weeks ago Mike went on a ride with our neighbors. It looks like they found a puddle to cool off in.
This past weekend we went camping in Taylor Reservoir, a beautiful place in Colorado. You are in a valley, mountains in every direction, fishing, ATV trails, camping and hiking. Mike spent all of his weekends here with his friend John when they first moved to CO.
This is Joseph in the camper with me during a quick rainstorm. Daddy was hanging out under a tree. The next is of Joseph enjoying his camp dinner. As he would say, "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!"
Daddy got the chance to go fly-fishing (left picture) while Joseph took a nap in my arms (right picture). This memory will be engraved in my head forever. It was the perfect moment for me as a mother. It is the place I love to be, surrounded by the mountains, holding my boy, in the morning sun. I could have done that all day! It was perfect, quiet, and peaceful.
Joseph loves to take little rides on the ATV. He actually has learned to start them (hold the brake, turn the key, hit the button). Smart Boy! I'm glad he loves the outdoors as much as his parents.
Here are the pictures of our camp. LOVE IT! Mike and John made this camp site in 2000, it's now a favorite place for us with lots of memories.

It was fun to play in the snow with Kenya and Robi. By the way, he can say Kenya (Nenya) and Robi (Obi).
Joseph could have stayed out here all day. He really enjoyed playing in the snow. He was so excited to put his snowsuit on (thanks mom)! And, his boots are Thomas the Train and he says "Choo-choo" as you put them on!
